“Beat the heat, come cook and eat!”  Age appropriate, Chef Dede inspired hands-on cooking classes!

Classes and Camps are held at Chef Dede’s new space for Culinary Dreams!  The address is: 25604 County Road 13, Suite #A, Daphne, Alabama 36526.

Several Parents are asking this question: “Will the students be doing anything else besides baking breads and making butters during 3 day camps?”

The Answer is: “Yes, students will learn how to use their breads as the foundation for other deliciousness.”

All classes are very “hands on” not just listening to a chef lecture!  All participants should wear comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and pull their hair back if longer than shoulder length.  We will also let you use one of our aprons so you’ll have no fear of “messing up” in the kitchen.

2 Ways to Start the Registration Process:

  1. Email with name/s of child/teen, grade level, contact phone number, and requested class/camp date/s and time, and subject line SUMMER REGISTRATION.
  2. Call Chef Dede Trotter at 251.709.1354 (c).

Camp Commis: 9th – 12th grades ALL POSITIONS FILLED (Get ready for next summer for your opportunity for this fun experience!)

Chef Dede is offering the position of Camp Commis to teens 9th – 12th grades. In the culinary world, the French word “commis” is a junior chef or chef assistant. This is an opportunity for teens who desire to deepen and challenge their understanding, skills, and responsibilities in the kitchen.  Also, it is a great way to earn service hours or to build that college resume. Those who have previously participated in a Culinary Dreams’ class or camp are preferred, but it is not required. If interested, students must submit the application form no later than Saturday, May 5, 2018. There are limited positions available so the sooner an application is submitted, the better. Chef Dede will conduct interviews with candidates before making final selections. Applicants will be notified no later than May 18. For more information and to request application, email Chef Dede at or call (251)709-1354.

PLEASE NOTE:  Chef Dede is available for private classes for individuals, families, or groups.

Don’t hesitate to give us a call (251.333.8908) with any questions you may have!

Blessings to you as we move closer to the end of school and closer to summer fun in the kitchen!
